Slight rant.

I am very fed up of people posing my favorite children's characters as being Gay with each other!

First of all, I have no quarrel with homosexual people before I get flagged as being homophobic.

It's just that,
Why do people now see two male friends (the most common) in a story and a book, interacting with each other in a friend manor and just assume that they have sexual feelings to each other, or are often hiding away from the world because their love is forbidden. I have seen many of my childhood hero's and favorite cartoons used by a person for a  chance to draw some more Yaoi fan art.  I mean if it was their own characters, I cant say anything about it.
but really..

Woody and Buzz as a gay couple?
Tom and Jerry
Tin tin and various other males .
I can understand a few others out of context
Really?

cant someone use their creativeness and make their own oc's to star in those sort of pictures.

Its just my personal view, after typing in  the names of two of my favorite childhood characters and getting quite a lot of ,,,,,,x,,,,,,, shipping. I found it quite disheartening.

Does every male interaction end with YAOI?!

p.s This is not meant to be offensive to anyone, I'm rather tactless when it comes to these things but I just think it gets annoying, I mean these are children's cartoons they are not meant to be portrayed in this way. Its almost to me like the innocence has been taken away.
